Life is a continuation of connections and impacts and through my art, I try to reflect on the impacts I have experienced throughout my lifetime. Ever since I was little art has always captivated my mind through a variety of formats. As I have gotten older, I realize those mediums impacted me and have connected me to who I am and who the complex world is… to a certain extent I always continue learning. I see art as a form of information or storytelling. Art knows no barrier; it knows all languages and beyond. I want to connect people and the world and themselves through art to continue the ripple effect of art’s impact it has on lives if it is young lives, well-lived lives, and beyond. Art can impact us like our lives can impact art, I tend to find what I was impacted by through my drawings which tend to be through a lens of nostalgia, nature, and or faith. I primarily focus on mediums such as clay, wood, ink, and acrylic paints but also expand to continuously seek new formats to express life with. Using a multitude of mediums allows me to express my interests in a variety of ways.
